If you are traveling in a car at 268 mph, you don’t really want a lot of distractions. The cockpit of the Bugatti Veyron Super Sport is very clean, simple and elegant. And it better be for close to $2 million. It certainly looks like a nice place to be.

As Paris Hilton would say, “that’s hot.” GTHAUS gave this E92 M3 some plastic surgery and it now essentially looks like a BMW GT2 race car. Now, I’m not always a huge fan of matte finishes, but imagine what this would look like in flat black. In the words of Jeremy Clarkson, “I’ve just had a crisis.” And, according to their Twitter feed they’ll have a new project car at SEMA. I can’t wait to see it.

Raeder Motorsports has developed a racing version of the TT-RS in conjunction with Audi’s Technical and Quattro divisions. It is a customer car designed for European endurance racing. Its first appearance will be at an event October 16th at the Endurance Championships at the Nurburgring. Looks fast doesn’t it?

I love VW. I’ve owned 3 of them and I’ve loved them all. So, I felt a little bad about giving Volkswagen such a hard time about their new design aesthetic in a previous post. I still stick to my guns, but like I said, the new cars aren’t bad looking. They’re actually good looking cars. I just think they’re a little boring. Maybe “conservative” would be a better word.

So, in honor of the now replaced MkV Jetta, I give you this great photo by Atom 12. This is one sexy looking car and as far as I can tell, the only thing that isn’t from the factory is the lowered suspension. Schön!

Love it or hate it this car is a feat of technical engineering and a new path for Lamborghini. As fuel and emissions restrictions become tougher as well as an increasing amount of required, heavy, safety equipment, the best way to produce super car performance is to go lighter. This 2,200 pound (999kg) Lamborghini is made almost entirely of carbon fiber and composites. Besides, shouldn’t super cars look like they’re from outer space?

Another day another concept released by Audi at the 2010 Paris Motor Show. This is purely a design concept so it will not go into production. Sure is pretty though. Oh yeah, those 20 inch wheels are 66 pieces of carbon fiber and aluminum.

The 2010 Paris Auto Show is bringing many wonderful things including this Quattro Concept by Audi. I won’t bore with engine details and the like, but if it is ever made, it’ll be fast. Stunning isn’t it?

This photo from Loudtiger shows off the uniquely European design of the E36 generation BMWs from the mid to late 90s. While Japanese and American cars tended to look like used bars of soap, BMW produced edgy and aggressive designs.

This is definitely one cool little car and it will be great to see them in the US. With all of the MINI Coopers around this car will certainly make some people second guess their buying decision. Would you buy it instead of the MINI?

On my recent trip to Europe I got to see a lot of really amazing cars. Even the Police get to drive some pretty sweet rides. You definitely wouldn’t need to twist my arm to patrol around in this little beauty. It’s not exactly the Crown Victoria we’re used to seeing here in the US.
