The 993 was the last of the water-cooled Porsches and this shot certainly pays homage to the beautiful turbo body. With the introduction of the 996 Porsche changed not only the engine, but also the round headlights with the much maligned “fried egg” shape. Porsche has since gone back to the round headlights with the 997 and I think that this car shows why, at least the headlights, should never have changed.
